In the month of December alone, we were contacted about 15 abandoned rabbits & we received 91 surrender requests. That brings our 2021 totals to 247 abandoned rabbits and 1,024 surrender requests.
Take comfort and pride in knowing that our volunteers are working every day to save as many as we can. Limited resources for shelters and rescues are not the problem– abandoning, neglecting, and abusing animals is the problem.
